Re: Hello from Ypsi!

Welcome! Yah, most online places should be avoided. The forums at 501stclonetroopers.com is the place to go. Spend a ton of time reading/researching through other people's build posts to get an idea of what to do. Anything you need to buy can be found in the "continuous items for sale" section of th...

Re: Stormtrooper Costume for Trade - Fun Project w/a local brewery

Hi. Sorry, but our costumes are our personal property, some costing $5,000 or more and we don't like to loan them out to people. Plus with the virus going around, it would be a bad idea anyways. :)

Thanks for the tips. 50 gal has been about the size I'm looking at. Good to hear her Fett fits in there nicely. Helmet included? I've been looking at helmet bags in addition to a case.
The Dewalt linked above is 63 gallons. Probably better to get that one.

Re: Costuming question

They can just buy the costume. Have your friend register for the forums at imperialofficer.com. Cosplaysky has the most inexpensive costumes, but there is A LOT to read up on before ordering from them. Even if you send in custom measurements, they tend to mess things up. And the hat and belt they se...

To add to this: a lot of people belong to one garrison and will troop in their own garrison and will also troop a neighboring one as a "guest trooper".

That's kind of odd, given the Legion stance that weapons are not required for costumes.

Actually, weapons are not a requirement. But if you want one, I'm sure you could just do the hilt.

Re: Getting 501st approval

You also might want to register for the proper detachment forums to make sure your costume is ready for approval first. For stormtroopers, go to whitearmor.net. For officers, imperialofficer.com. Post pics of your costumes and let the other members critique it.

Not sure. You will want to check the Blizzard Force detachment. Thought I heard that the old vendor died and someone else may be doing them. Could be wrong.

The PC version is also on the RC book covers. is there two CRLs that have the differences? I am pretty interested in this lol No, only 1 CRL. It doesn't matter which kit you ...

Almost any character can be done as "a tall character". You build it to fit your body type.

TZA (Talon) was one of the makers of RC armor in the past. He recently sold his molds to WTF (Walt's Trooper Factory).
