Search for MG-34 instead. There are tons of references for the WWII machine gun.

Two other tweaks to make are to remove the silver decals from the detonator and paint the rivet heads on the knee plate and thigh boxes white.
Also what is your belt made of? It has to be made of canvas or duck cloth. Looks like you are getting close to being approved.

I've never heard of a local shop that sells them. Most everyone gets them online.

And if you delete the message from your outbox it also deleted the message from the recipients inbox, so they won't get the message you sent.

Here is the public sales link for the Aker amp.
I'll see if I can dig up a link for the MRCE/Efx mods.

Re: Need Advice - eFX Helmet MODs - Fans & Sound System
Also don't forget for the eFX helmet to be acceptable you have to add the ear screws, replace the tube stripe decals, replace the lenses, and fill the frown seam.
I think most troopers use the Aker amp. You can find them for sale on the FISD (www.whitearmor.net).

I'd go with resin or fiberglass. If it's vac formed you won't get the crisp edges that you can with a negative mold.

Re: where to purchase vader costume pieces?
So true. I have an Emperor set that can't be approved anymore because the standards for the outer robe changed. And I bought it from a 501st member who had that costume approved long before! :( So I'll wear it as an unofficial costume or something since I can't really even sell it. You always have ...

Re: deduct costs of our costumes on taxes?
Lumpy is correct. The 501st and Rebel Legions are costuming clubs with no secondary mission, a side benefit of the club that is the charity work we do as a group. It's totally possible for a member to troop regularly and never help a charity depending on the events you do.

Re: Sandtropper armor question.
His site is really out of date. FX armor hasn't been made in several years.
I know several excellent armor builders for hire that are very reasonable and do amazing work if you are looking for someone to build a kit for you.
Your best place to look for sandtrooper info is www.mepd.net
