Re: 442nd WIP
Well, after several troops now, I've started to have a problem with the spoons on the calves staying in the back. Finally decided to come up with a way to hold them in. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone%20Trooper/null_zps64af5322.jpg What I've done was take a section of ...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
Worked on painting a few more parts today. Got the elbows done, and working on the boxes for the back. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Three%20Clone%20Build/null_zps9f33573d.jpg http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Three%20Clone%20Build/null_zps11a8fb31.j...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
I have used Rustoleum paints, and it has worked great. Just make sure to get the ones that bond with plastic http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/Star%20Wars%20Stuff/null_zps2beb4c19.jpg Just make sure to sand all your parts to give the paint something to bond too. Let me know if there is...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
Ok, let's catch up on some progress from last time. I finished the seams on the calves and have them bondoed to fill in the low spots. Working on sanding them down and making the seam disappear. It's on of the steps I hate, because it's so hard to it smooth without some flaw. Also, have been working...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
The last week has been very productive. Finished the forearms after sanding down the bondo. They are ready for paint. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Three%20Clone%20Build/D0F1B603-CF06-48ED-B9E7-D203285E8AC2-407-0000007D12D1AFA2_zpsf0eeb5fb.jpg Finished trimming out the elb...

Re: Clone Shoe Tutorial
I would say cost is about $50-60 for the shoes. You may be able to get it cheaper if you get a deal on the shoes and a discount on the vinyl. Shoes - $20 at Walmart Vinyl - $20 at Jo-Ann fabric Velcro - $8 at Walmart Shoo Goo - $10 at Walmart ( two tubes) Let me know if you have any more questions. ...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
Sorry for the delay in my posts, July has been a heck of a month. Ok, I worked on trimming out the hand plates, sanding them down and getting the edges good. These are ready for an all over sanding then paint. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Three%20Clone%20Build/606DBD24-19...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
I also started to work on the cod and butt pieces that he had. Once I got them out I found out that it was missing the little tab on the side for the connection. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Three%20Clone%20Build/7D808775-6360-42CB-835D-1225DCF5C353-1575-0000013190A05F2A_...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
Sorry for the delay in the next post, this month has been hecktic. Finally was able to sand down the sludge on the forearms and get some bondo on the seams to smooth out the rough spots. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Three%20Clone%20Build/AF02B90D-CDED-48DA-9817-D37C0A6F8E...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
While the biceps dried, I moved on to the forearms. I had to do the same and cut abs strips to put the halves together. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Three%20Clone%20Build/39514885-15DD-4301-BAE0-DCD903F88D93-23224-00001E35AF437AC5_zpsb1e73c37.jpg Working on putting them t...

Re: Three-in-One Clone Build
Ok, this build will be a little different from my last. My 442nd build was done with one of Kevin's tall kits, while my friends kits are from Bozo. I'm sure I'll have some question for people as I come across things that are a little different. I started on the three biceps since they were the small...

Three-in-One Clone Build
Three-in-one Build I bet your asking what is this? After I finished my 442nd build, I had a friend from our Garrison contact me to see if I would be interested in building another Clone for him that has been five years in the making. I told him sure, no problem. Then he hits me with his plan. http:/...

Re: 442nd WIP
Well, it was bound to happen. I knew it was only a matter a time, but I had to fix my back shoulder where the straps go in. When I finished my armor I knew the section was a little thin and it finally broke this last weekend at a troop. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone%...

Re: 442nd WIP
It looks like the small fan I have is still too BIG. I was test fitting it in my helmet to see if it would be in the way when I put it on. My luck, its too big and will not allow my head to squeeze in. Guess I'm going to have to get some smaller fans.

Re: 442nd WIP
Ok, now that I have been approved and worn this around a few times it's time to work on getting some fans in the helmet and mic/speaker(voice amp) so people can hear me. I've picked up a few things from Radio Shack and found a few small computer fans. Now to see if I can get some air movement in my ...

Now move on to the sides if the shoe. These pieces will cover most of the shoes except the laces. Sorry but these pics are all of the final shoe. I'll try and walk through what I did. http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p597/BBC527/BBC527%20Clone%20Trooper/2CBE4D92-2828-4536-ADC8-D909F9303A90-9670-0...

Re: Clone Shoe Tutorial
Now that you have all the templates cut out of poster board it's time to cut out the vinyl and start on the shoes. The one thing you need to do is flip the templates over when you lay them out on the vinyl. If you don't, they won't line up right. The first parts I did were the toes and sides. http:/...
