Tubby Tusken suggested some paints that I'm gonna try to pick up this week but after that I'm working on the gaffi and accessories until a friend I have can do my robes for me (cant sew!). It was pretty much suggested that I put up pictures to show my progress so everyone knows I'm not a flake.

It's always good to have pictures

Did you know that a Tusken also qualifies for Rebel Legion membership as well?

Split the off-topic thread hijack. Now back to the original topic of a costume build. Also moved to a more appropriate location.

Had a very productive day. Shane & Jerry came over to my house for a little Tusken party. With a little help form a few witches and a shaman we were able to summon the soul of Martha Stewart to possess Jerry and put him to work on the sewing machine he was able to square away the robe. while Shane and I reworked his arm wraps and gaffi stick. After we finished we let Shane loose with the spray cans. My wife made us a delightful cup tea that we splashed all over the robes, wraps, and gloves after that was said and done we through it to the ground and Shane played in the dirt. After all the hard work we put in to this I cannot believe that Shane would be so careless and get his brand new robe so dirty. :rotflmao: Jerry and I got him back on the right track and I sent him home with lots of homework. We plan to get together in a couple of weeks to hopefully complete the bucket and take some pics for approval. Here are some pics of today's festivities.

thanks for posting those rob! I should be done with my gaffi tomorrow and should have some new pics on the photobucket, which I'll link once it's updated. So yeah. Rockin. Lots of thanks to Rob and Jerry for all the help! I'll put the side by sides of my original bits up too just for laughs. ^^

I have reviewed the pictures and sent you a PM with a few minor fixes. You'll also need to fill out the application on the 501st website and provide some Legion ID choices from the available numbers. I provided links to everything in the PM.

Great Job  You're almost there.
