Can you build me a full size ATAT? That would be pretty cool to pull up in that at our next troop.

A LONG time ago, one of the paintball mags I used to read featured a story where they had a Star Wars themed scenario game and had the 501st show up for the thing. Some played in their costumes and from the looks of things, they had what looked like a HUGE at-at replica at the place. Wasn't even close to full size, but was still pretty big. I think I still have a scan of the article somewhere.

Did my first pull on the cast of my face for my Maul stencils. To me it looks like they turned out pretty good!

Just have to pull a few stencils for certain parts, plus make a couple for Savage Opress.
Would also have to say the vac table and frame worked like a charm.

Was going through my things and came across these that I haven't worn in a while and thought maybe I can convert these and get them to work. The standard states "Black leather or leather-like material, mid-calf height, and resemble a motor cross styled boot (lace-less and black colored zippers if any are present)."
With some work, similar to what we do for Clone Trooper boots with tennis shoes.

Started trying to lay out Maul's face tattoo's on my face pull. Man this is a pain to try and get these to look good with out screwing it up.

Made three more pulls this morning of my face. Just in case I screw up on my first or choose to do the make-up in sections.
I'll also do a few more pulls to work on Savage Opress make-up.

Darkened up the sections on my pull to see if everything looks good before I cut them out. Sure, there maybe a little adjustment in some of the lines, but it gives me the overall look.

Ok, got my stencils cut for the first time and I'm already looking at modifying them a little.
Image
Hey they are my first few so changes may be necessary.

Plus, since I did my one stencil I had to try it out. I know it's not the best and my wife was off on some of the areas so I know I have work to do to perfect it.
We took some Halloween makeup I had from another mask to try it out. Here is what we came up with for the first try. REMEMBER THIS IS JUST A FIRST TIME TRIAL ( no horns)!

I know I have a ways to go. I have to find a good makeup and good way to apply? Let me know what you guys think!

Ok, had a little break on the build. I just got my armor in for my Clone Trooper.

Had a little problem with getting my horns to fit my head and ended up sanding off more than what I needed to.
Image

After talking with Berzerker, I found out you could heat the horns up a little to shape them to your head (wish I would have known that sooner). Now I'm in the process of trying to save my horns.
What I've done is found some caps that fit the size of the horns. I put in a little epoxy resin/hardener with the horns to rebuild the base.
Image

These should turn out ok after they harden. Then it's just a little shaping and we are back on track.

Well after letting my horns sit for 24 hours I was able to pull them out of the caps.
Image

The added benefit of this is that I got flexibility out of the new base. It must have been a lack o hardener in the mix (not equal amounts)Image

Question on make-up. If I don't airbrush, how many times do you get out of a Reel Creations pot? Also, do you need a sealer with the make-up?

Finally getting back to this again, while I work on more Clones.

Put some paint on the horns to work on getting them done while I paint on the Clones.

Couldn't pass these up today. Found them both at Marshal's for $19.99 each.
