Great Lakes Garrison & Base

Hello. I just bought a Shadow trooper suit from a guy that said its 501st approved and I think was formerly part of the Ohio garrison. TX3778. its a nice suit but I need some help making it fit correctly. I'm 6'3" tall and 240 lbs and the plastic pieces that connect the chest and back plates together are about 2" too short. Also the Ammo belt with the Thermal Detonator canister is also too small. any ideas?
I want to get it exactly right so I can join the 501st

3778 is from Indiana, not Ohio.

As far as the costume pieces, we'd have to see the shoulder parts you're referring to to see how they could be fit differently. Also, while the Shadowtrooper usually uses the plastic belts, if it's too short, it's also allowable to have a black canvas belt like the normal Stormtroopers have (but theirs are white, obviously).
