Re: Anyone familiar with EVA Foam Armor?
I had wondered the same thing when first getting into this. Short answer, you will find, is that EVA foam, cardboard and the like are not allowed as 501st Legion costumes. You certainly can make whatever you want out of whatever you want BUT you will not want to show up to a garrison/legion event we...

Re: Finalizing GA Legends Outfit
I read that Etsy sellers item description. No where did they state what fabric type (like twill) or fabric content was (like cotton or polyester). This might be cleared up by a question asked of the Etsy seller. IOC tends to have a good list of vendors so you might want to stick with know sellers.

Re: Looking for a 3D Printer capable of printing Clone Trooper Armor
Aether, are you using Sean Fields files for the Shore trooper? I have the tank trooper files from him, which is basically a shore trooper in different paint scheme. My helmet is a resin cast, bought it on sale before I had the 3D printer. I use PETG filament as it is very tough and will not deform i...

Re: Looking for a 3D Printer capable of printing Clone Trooper Armor
I have a Creality CR-10. I have been printing the armor parts for the armored assault tank commander (looks like the Shoretrooper) and many of the parts can be printed without cutting into parts. Example, the Fett helmet could be printed in one piece. Chest armor, back and abdomen armor would have t...

Re: Getting my ANH officer together
I also believe that ANH officer will have notches in the disks so that is something to check on the CRL and with the vendor. Make certain of what you are getting and what you need.

Re: Getting my ANH officer together
I bought my Imperial Officer uniform, tunic, hat and breeches, from Wampa Wear and am very happy with it. Code cylinders for Philo Props but those might take sometime to be made and shipped overseas. Belt with buckle and code disk from Bailey Builds on Etsy. Also rank bars from Bailey as well. I do ...

Re: For Sale- Officer Riding Boots
What a great idea. I figured that the struggle was with that liner, more like a soft sponge covered in fabric. I never thought to hack out the liner.

REMOVED - Officer Riding Boots
NOT FOR SALE ANY LONGER I purchased a pair of size 10R (regular foot) PVC boots. These are black rubber with a fabric liner. Would work for officer or maybe smuggler boot. Bad news for me is that I cannot get my foot into them. I wear a size 9.5 D (regular width) shoe. I thought that these at size 1...

Grand Rapids Comic Con April 2022
Any word from the GR Comic Con about having us in for 2022? I see they have the 501st as a panel discussion and then a Star Wars artist talking about his work as well. Looks like it would be very worthwhile to attend. They are running it in April it appears.

Re: TK boots options ???
With those boots are the sizes running large or small? I take a 9.5 shoe and I think they only sell in even sizes?
