Hi all - could someone suggest a good Imperial buckle maker?

You can make your own, actually, using parts from Tandy Leather, some polish and ultra-fine grit sandpaper. Our Detachments -- Imperial Officer Corps and Jolly Rogers Squadron -- have some quick tutorials, but essentially, you can use the buckle blank, polish it, and gently sand it to get that brushed look (and to even out the surface imperfections).

The 2" belt blank then gets trimmed to size, hole punched at the appropriate size, dyed black, edge-coated, and voila! Belt! :) (after the ET disk detail is applied, of course)

Because of that, nobody makes belts on a regular basis. Some folks may occasionally do a run here and there, but again, it's not such a rare piece that only a few people have the ability to make them.

There is a small run on the Legion boards for both belts and buckles ($50/$25) right now...however, I cannot vouch for their quality.

Thank you both for advice. Belt + buckle = done! Almost done with the whole outfit and hopefully 501st approval!

Cheers
