Does anybody know how to Photoshop Lightsaber color into a picture? I took some pictures of Mara outside and unfortunally the blade light did not show.

Do you have photoshop? I found a photoshop tutorial on theforce.net many years ago. Supposed to be for video but if you skip the first couple of steps it will work for still pics too.
http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/softwa ... finley.asp

When doing still pics, skip down to step 4.

If using Elements doesn't work, let me know. I can whip up something real quick.

I can't get it to work. The only thing elements is letting me do is paint the lightsaber blade.

It doesn't matter what application you have -- owning a software application doesn't automatically convey the expertise of the fundamentals :). You have to actually know the technique of using layers and Gaussian blur, and if you do, it doesn't matter if you have Photoshop CC, Elements, CS6, or even 3.0. Or any raster image editing application not made by Adobe.

There is no automatic "lightsaber filter" in any of these applications.

Just like if you learn how to drive a car, you're not limited to a specific model or brand. You learned the fundamentals of starting the engine, shifting gears, and steering, and you can apply that to any vehicle even if the location of the wipers and controls on the stereo are in different places.

I can do it. You can google it too.

In photoshop, its a bar of color on a new layer with layer effects Outer Glow, etc.
Youtube does a good demo of it.
