Whitecaps Star Wars Night Promo

The West Michigan Whitecaps have a new promo for their June 28th baseball game! The promo shows the Darth Vader baseball jersey the home team will be wearing, designed by GLG member Scott "Crow" Withers TK-1491. Over 40 characters will be travelling from a galaxy far, far away to entertain the fans and raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation.

TURF WARS?

"A long time ago, on a football field far, far away..." is the opening of the TURF WARS video from the Flint Phantoms promoting Star Wars Night & Dress as a Phantom for May 24th arena football game. The 501st and Rebel Legion members will be there to entertain fans. Kids can test their skills on the Blaster Range, along with seeing Jedi in lightsaber battles and a Stormtrooper kicking field goals!

Motor City Comic-Con Update

Unfortunately, due to a personal emergency, 501st Legion founder Albin Johnson will not be able to appear at Motor City Comic-Con. We wish Albin godspeed and our thoughts are with him and his family.

Lando is coming to Motor City Comic Con!

Actor and Honorary 501st Member Billy Dee Williams will be at Motor City Comic Con for one day only- Saturday May 17th from 11 am to 5 pm. Billy Dee played "card player, gambler, scoundrel" Lando Calrissian in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Other Star Wars celebrities at MCCC include actor Felix Silla (hang glider ewok), artists Matt Busch, Katie Cook, and Marc Wolfe, along with 501st Legion founder Albin Johnson.

The 501st Legion and Rebel Legion have a fun-filled weekend planned for attendees. The Great Lakes Garrison invites you to stop by our booth to participate in our many Scheduled Events!
