Re: HELP - My costume stinks!!!
A flight suit is fairly cheap (around $30-40) so if it can't be washed, toss it and get something that doesn't reek. The cummerbund can probably be machine-washed. The gloves would probably need to be dry-cleaned. Wash the hell out of the plastics with anything non-abrasive (no cleanser! :)), becaus...

Re: Would this get approval??
It's possible that the Garrison site isn't updated simultaneously with the Legion site, because I saw on the 70th's Garrison page that they actually have 5 TBs, one of whom is male. The Legion roster list might have more, or the person was a transfer, or any number of reasons, really.

Re: Would this get approval??
And the best way to see what kind of mods you need to make is the physical way! But in seriousness, if it was already approved by the 70th Explorers Garrison, try to find out who the seller is. Somebody might know the person!
Congrats!

I have the two-piece Under Armour Cold Gear for cold weather (and that only helps up to a point), and the Walmart/Dick's Sporting Goods two-piece knock-offs for year-round.

Re: Imperial Officer Costume - Thumbs up or down??
For the price, I'd look elsewhere. The Grand Admiral white is a cool uniform, but it needs the gold shoulder epaulets to be complete, so I highly doubt this uniform was "501st approved" (speaking as the former Detachment Leader of the Imperial Officer Corps). Plus, as noticed by Rachel, th...

He claimed to be my size 6 foot 230 but damn , i couldn't squeeze those bi cep, fore arms or calves on to save my life. He must of been a scrawny 230 lber. Re: Begining of my new build. Biker Scout
I am currently Building a smaller size version of the Biker scout for my nephew. He is small and scrawny so every thing has to be made from scratch to look good on him. I feel the oppisite, i think all armor is made to fit you scrawny small guys and i have to try to make them bigger. :rotflmao: ( t...

And even after 3 years, I still find that I need to do periodic adjustments to my TK pieces. The thighs are currently held together with clear cellophane packaging tape...from last year's Griffins game!

Re: Armor epoxy
E6000 is also a good all-purpose adhesive, without the nasty epoxy smell. I've seen it at Meijer in the hardware section and at Michael's & JoAnn where the other adhesives are. It starts out as a viscous liquid, but it gels over time, which makes it really easy to work with then.

Do you have a portfolio of your work? If you have good experience in MySQL/PHP, I could always use the assistance on this site as well.

Re: Helmet / Armor so far. What do you think?
Lookin' great, Craig! When you send in the photos, send them in as large as possible so I can properly trim and process them. Most of the time when I have to reject photos, it's either because of size (too small) or lighting (too dark*). The lighting and poses look fine in what you've got there. * c...
