Very cool!
I need to figure out how to do the tube strips and cheek strips so I can get those painted on as well. Might end up purchasing a template from trooperbay, but was trying to figure it out otherwise..

Well, you won't see those on my helmet, cause I did the Mr. No Stripes version. I had to mix it up from the regular troops.

HA!!! I didn't realize that was an actual type of helmet! I was going off panda over on fisd, and noticed that comment a long time ago, but never thought much of it.

Don't worry, I'm the only on in MI that did that. The rest of the helmet build is exactly the same as yours.

I would go for the Trooperbay templates. It will save you a ton of hassle.

If you do use the stencil, I have a trick you can use. Once you get the stencil in place, apply a base color of paint before you paint the stripes. For example, when you paint the tube stripes, put a coat of white paint on the template first. Once it dries you can paint the blue over top. This prevents the blue from bleeding through the template.
